EPS/TSACR AC/AC Frequency Converter 20-500kVA bidirectional

EPS/TSACR AC/AC Frequency Converter 20-500kVA bidirectional For grid simulations of worldwide AC mains with their upper and lower limits and as an energy-saving load for generators and inverters, the AC/AC frequency changer »EPS/TSACR« with grid feed-back of EPS Electronic Power Supply can be used. These are available with power of 10-500 kVA in a voltage range of 1000 V and frequencies of 16.7 to 800Hz. The systems are voltage control (we specify voltage and frequency).

There are only minor repercussions (THDi < 6%) due to the sinus-shaped current uptake.
Our customized frequency sandsystems generate a 1-or 3-phase output voltage of a 1 or 3-phase input voltage. The starting frequencies are fixed or optional adjustable between 16.7Hz and 800Hz. A galvanic separation occurs with the downstream separation transformer, which adjusts the voltage at the same time.
The sinus output voltage of the transformer is electronically controlled. As a result, this voltage is constant, regardless of changes in load or changes in input voltage. The power flow can therefore take place bidirectionally in both directions. Between source and sink, the transition is fluid. Loads can therefore also be operated as a source or sink and thus determine the flow of power.
The AC source/sink can be seen as a power simulator, with the specified voltage and frequency. Connected active loads need to sync down to it.
An automatic filter charging circuit with resistance and bridging protection limits the output current. The converter is also protected against overload and short circuit. For a short time, the frequency converter provides 150% of the nominal current. The mesh input voltage is monitored for overvoltage and under voltage, which immediately stop the inverter.

The operating unit, with VGA-TFT touchscreen display, is the interface between the device and the user. Here you can view readings, set values can be changed and the operating mode can be selected. Multiple devices can be configured by a control unit. Remote communication takes place via an RS232 or CAN-Bus interface or via an optional analog or Ethernet interface.
By default, there is a backup load separator at the AC input as well as a not-off, which can be integrated externally via clamps.

The system can be customized "upgraded ," for example as a frequency-leading sink operation, not-off system, parallel circuit or a water cooling (IP54).
