E/PSI 5000 Laboratory Power Supply 320 W

The microprocessor controlled laboratory Power Supply »E/PSI 5000« from EPS Electronic Power Supplies is ideally suited for schools, laboratory and workshop because of their desktop case. The unit is equipped with a flexible auto-ranging output stage which provides a higher output voltage at lower output current, or a higher output current at lower output voltage, always limited to the maximum nominal output power. An output voltage 0 up to 200VDC, current upon 4 A at an output power of 320 W are available. Furthermore to the output on the front panel there is an additional output on the rear side on a screw terminal.

In order to ease adjusting of values by the existing rotary encoders, it can be switched between coarse and fine setting mode, just by a key stroke. Thus Voltage, Current and Power can be represented clearly via the four digit display. To prevent unintentional operations, all operations controls can be locked.
Furthermore isolated interfaces as analog, Ethernet (Windows-tool on CD) and USB are provided for standard to record the unit as well to program the output power, voltage and current.

Besides the units are provided with a memory function for nine different preset values, with the ability to save and recall these just by the push of a button. Remote sensing can be done via a dedicated input which is directly connected to the load equipment, in order to compensate for voltage drops on the load cables.

Parallel connection are possible. The DC output clamps on the front are suitable to connect soldered cable ends, spade lugs, cable end sleevers or 4mm Büschel plugs. The auxiliary output on the rear (32A max.) is of type a screw terminal. As well is a safety adapter set optional available, used to achieve a non-contact safety socket.
