EPS/HC 4000-WC DC Current and Voltage Source 6 - 40 kW

The series »EPS/HC 4000-WC« of EPS Electronic Power Supplies is a range of adjustable, switched mode high current sources offering standard output voltages from 6V up to 30V, output currents up to 2000A and output power ratings up to 30 kW (different other output voltages/currents/power ratings upon request). The units are used in high-power environments such as electroplating and Plasma (surface treatment, hardening), multiple industrial applications (powering of electric engine starters, DC motors, automatic end-of-line test systems for the testing of contactors, relays, switches) and heavy duty components in general.
All units are short-circuit proofed and overload protected. A switch-off, with a defined restart. takes place at mains undervoltage or overvoltage.

The heavy duty switch mode power stage is build in a 19" housing in 2 different form factors.
The modules are by standard without control.
The high-current power supplies can be controlled optionally via the built-in isoltated analog interface. As an option the operation and control are very simple with the backlight 3-line LCD display »EPS/HC280« and a tough touch panel. Optionally digital interfaces (modules) for RS485, Profibus and USB (on analog) are available to control all the functions via a PC.

Remote sensing can be optionally done via a dedicated input which is directly connected to the test equipment, in order to compensate the voltage drops on the lines.

There is also a special version with an output voltage of 1000V and with a output power of 20 and/or 40 kW available as an option.
