Note: according to the block diagram in the manual, these devices have three microprocessor controlled components which have separate firmwares. There are listed below in separate sections.

+ ModBus TCP: the internal Ethernet port now supports ModBus TCP via port 502, ignoring the Ethernet port setting where the default is 5025 (means, the port doesn't require to be set to 502)
+ OT: added setting to determine whether the DC output shall be off after an OT alarm or continue

+ ModBus compliance mode: allows switching to "Full" which now makes the ModBus messages fully compliant regarding coils. The mode can be switched to remain compatible to older firmwares
* Ethernet port: port 502, being reserved for ModBus TCP, cannot be set anymore in the adjustable Port register
* SCPI: improved small things, like handling of the factors milli and kilo
- Removed a bug when the device would return an error when setting/unsetting a coil which was already set/unset
+ Interface supervision: deactivated by default, it can be enabled and configured to supervise communication with the device via an user-defined timeout. If the time runs out it would switch off 
  remote control and the DC output. This is valid for all digital interfaces.
