Die in der Firmware_updates.upd enthalten Firmwares sind für alle neueren Geräteserien ab 2014 und müssen anders als ältere Serien installiert werden. 
Die Update-Datei ist mit der Software  EPS Power Control zu verwenden, die Sie vor der Aktualisierung des Gerätes auf einem Windows-PC installiert haben sollten. 
Die Aktualisierung der Firmwares des Gerätes kann nur über USB-Schnittstelle erfolgen, außer bei den Lastmodulen ELM 5000, die nur einen LAN-Port haben. 
Hier wird die Aktualisierung über diesen gemacht.

Hinweis: manche Firmwares bedingen eine überarbeitete des Handbuchs für Ihr Gerät, das Sie sich im Bereich "Produkte" auf unserer Webseite besorgen können.

The firmwares in the file Firmware_updates.upd are for all new device series released since 2014. They have to be installed in a different way than with older series.
The update file has to be opened in the Update app of software EPS Power Control, which should be installed on a Windows PC before trying to update the device.
Updates can only be installed via the USB port, except for the ELM 5000 (ELR 5000) modules which only have Ethernet. There the update is done via the LAN port.

Note: firmware updates sometimes are accompanied by a revised user manual for your device which you can download from the website in the "Products" section.
